687 - How do you prepare?

I have Christmas music blaring as I prepare a #Christmas Favorite.

Today, I am making 6 lbs of Grandma's Nuts. I don't dare show up at Christmas without them.

It's the small things that create #traditions and these nuts bring us all together.

I don't have a recipe but there is an inner knowing. I follow my instinct and memory of the flavor.

There are many new recipes but they don't use the basic ingredients of our grandma's nuts.

I'm grateful to the #KerrvilleMorningRotary for supplying these beautiful pecans.

I'm thinking about my plans for the new year as I mix the ingredients.

They are similar to the plans we make for our businesses.

I use sugar and vinegar, and after roasting that for a while, I toss them in butter and salt and return to the oven until they are the right color.

In #entrepreneurship, we have our sweet and sour, smooth and salty days.

We have to plan for them all.

I have a specific process for making the nuts, just as I have processes in my #business.

It wouldn't produce the same result if I got the processes out of order.

It would be nice if I could taste test in business! Wouldn't that make things easier?!
