697 - What is your most memorable moment?

My brother lives on a lake. The entire weekend, there were heavy winds causing white caps on the waves.

As we looked out this morning, the lake is still as glass. There is complete calm.

We all agreed that Christmas was wonderful this year. The food was amazing!

The best part was that the adults did not exchange gifts. We focused on the children instead.

My children decided to surprise me with a gift of experience.

This morning we will take off for Charleston, SC for a history tour, dinner at a special restaurant and tomorrow a tour of a plantation. They don't realize that I played a concert at this plantation over 40 years ago.

My favorite kind of gift is not about things but about shared experiences.

I love gifts that create memories.

My visions for 2023 become more clear as we travel and spend time together.
