716 - Why are you on LinkedIn?

There are many reasons to be on #LinkedIn.

People are on LinkedIn for various reasons, not all of which are good:

✅ To find a job

✅ Talk about #business

✅ Find new clients

✅ Provide services

❌ Scam people (yup, we've all been confronted...)

❌ Find their soulmate (unfortunately there are some who think this is Facebook)

But, how do you engage on LinkedIn?

Some people think they must have a LinkedIn profile.

What they don't realize is that having a lackluster profile that lacks engagement, is as good as having no profile at all.

To build a healthy profile on LinkedIn, you must #ENGAGE!

I am primarily on LinkedIn to help small business owners and their employees.

But I have learned that it is most important to build #relationships first. I also enjoy helping people find like-minded people.

Build relationships by commenting on posts and connecting with like-minded people.

Post your own content! That is imperative if you want to build trust and #educate people on what you do.

Respond when people comment on your posts and ask questions to encourage conversation.

Meet people on zoom or at virtual networking events so they see and hear you.

Post video content so people get to know you better.

People do business with people they know, like, and trust. We all know that.
