720 - Do you attend live corporate events?

It's the beginning of a new year and my company is gearing up for an impactful year.

I attended a regional training in Dallas this weekend.

It was exactly what I needed. It motivates and inspires me to get together with colleagues from several states who I only see once or twice a year.

It's more energizing to reconnect, take notes, and exchange ideas than to take a weekend off.

It's still the first month of the year. Why would we take a break when we've barely begun the year?

I love hearing our corporate leaders filling us in on plans for the year and top producers sharing their stories and their expertise.

When I go to corporate events I do it with a purpose.

From traveling there, to the hotel stay and the event itself, I love to take it all in and experience each aspect of the trip with fresh eyes.

I engage with people I meet and take pages of notes on the advice from those who have paved the way for the rest of us.

Much of it I have heard hundreds of times over the years but each person has their own way of delivering the information.

I returned home from Dallas with more clarity and sense of direction for my business.
