Have you ever seen a pasture of grazing dinosaurs?
This came up so suddenly I almost didn't get a picture.
I'm used to seeing cattle, horses and sheep gracing here in Texas, not dinosaurs.
My mind was on the training I had just attended and how much a company can change with the shift in leaders.
This pasture full of dinosaurs made me think of how all these giants are synonymous with so many leadership types today. The ferocious T-Rex to the large but gentle brontosaurus and everything in between...
I'm happy to say I have never had to work in a place with a tyrannical CEO.
The last CEO of my company was tech driven. It was good because he brought so many advancements helping us to operate more efficiently
The new CEO is relationship driven and there is a shift to the importance of building relationships, while using technology. He will focus on improving relationships with customers, the salesforce and partners.
There is no doubt that the new CEO will make changes that align with his own values and goals
While this field of dinosaurs gave me a good chuckle and jolted me out of my thoughts, I couldn't help but think about all the different types of leaders we have had. It seemed like a good analogy at the time.
Have you worked in a company where the new leadership brought about a noticeable shift almost immediately?
