I see great posts on LinkedIn today that are educational, motivating, and inspiring.

LinkedIn is what you make it.

Whether you are here for social interaction, to find a job, or do business, you can find it here.

The most important step in making LinkedIn work for you is to ENGAGE.

✅ Engagement is the single most important activity you can do to build a solid network of like-minded people.

Engage in people’s posts, not only by commenting but responding to other people’s comments.

I can’t tell you how many people have reached out to me to connect based on comments I left on someone else’s post.

✅✅ Post your own content. Contributing your own content is vital.

Don’t leave the posting to everyone else!!

People are looking at your profile and when your profile says, “...hasn’t posted lately ”it shows people that you're not fully engaged.

Are you saying, "But, I’m too busy!!!” 😱

Look at the profiles of the people who post daily and tell me they aren’t as busy or busier than you.

Everyone is busy!!

Busy is a lame excuse to get out of doing the things that will move you forward.

How can you change that?

* get active on LinkedIn

* Set an alarm

* Spend less time on mindless tasks

* Block time to post

* Block time to engage

* Block time to actually WORK

✅✅✅ There is a phenomenal book titled, The12WeekYear, by Brian Moran.

If you are too busy to write any content, engage, or read a good book each day for 20 minutes or so, then you aren’t busy...

You are unorganized!!

I say this assuming that you are here to grow a healthy network, do business, learn, and meet people.

But until you take the first steps to know others, don’t expect them to miraculously find you.

What do you really want out of LinkedIn or any other network you are in? Why are you here?

You can make any social media network do whatever you want if you engage.

LinkedIn is what you make it. Do you agree?
