I sat down to write this post and my brain went haywire.

There are so many topics I could write about that I couldn't focus on one.

All I need is one topic to focus on to create some content for today.

Have you ever had so much going on that you want to discuss but 'you can't stop long enough to take a breath' and let the one thing surface?

This doesn't only happen with writing content for a post.

It happens to people all day long at work.

The secret is in the sentence above...' you can't stop long enough to take a breath'.

YES, YOU CAN. In fact, it's one thing that will ground you and help you focus.

Take time to breathe! Take a deep breath.

Before you get out of your car at work, take a long deep breath (or 2) and allow yourself to relax from being in traffic.

Before going into a meeting, giving a presentation, or making difficult decisions, give yourself the gift of breath.

Before you respond to questions or accusations, take a breath.

Deep breathing can help diffuse situations...(especially if you do it really loud so other people think your about to pass out!) just kidding...

Although, breathing and laughing go hand in hand. Take time each day to do both.

Drinking a glass of water helps too. No energy drinks, coffee or tea. JUST DRINK WATER.

Your body will thank you.

Your mind will thank you.

Some things are so simple we forget to do them.

I feel better already and I never mentioned any of the topics I thought about addressing.

How do you handle overload?
