This post is a short one.

Here we are again.

We have sprung forward an hour.

It is now lighter later in the evening and darker in the morning when children are on their way to school.

When I woke up this morning, I was again reminded by the darkness of how I dreaded sending my kids to the bus stop in the dark each morning.

Granted it was only for a few weeks until it gets lighter as summer approached. But those weeks are critical for the safety of the millions who have an early commute.

Farmers no longer need light in the evening. They have powerful lighting now that allows them to work late into the night, if necessary. And, we certainly don't need to conserve candles...

I've heard many reasons for not ending the time change but none make sense when you look at the bigger picture.

Many people, like me, think we should abolish Daylight Savings Time.

Other people have no opinion one way or the other.

And there are some who want to keep it as it is, although they give no solid reasons. They haven't thought through why they came to that decision. It's just easy to say no to change.

What do you think? Is it time to end Daylight Savings Time?
