If cost was not an issue would you call a lawyer more often?

I often hear things like, 'I wish I had known about this a few months ago'

or, 'I could have used this several times in the past'...as if it will never happen again.

My question is, do you think any other legal events will happen again in your life?

The answer, of course, is a resounding YES.

One of my clients said that even if he paid for my services for years without using them he would still save money on one incident. That's true.

While I like the way he thinks, I don't want people to think that way.

We want you to use the services as often as you have questions and other legal life events that are ongoing.

I don't want people thinking of my services as insurance. The services are proactive. USE THEM DAILY!

There are a few insurance-type aspects to this membership, such as civil trial defense hours in the event you are ever sued, and a tax attorney's assistance should you ever face an IRS audit.

The most powerful part of legal protection is knowing you can pick up the phone for any questions or issues nationwide, including after-hour emergencies.

As I write this post, I received a call from one of my clients. She is the HR director for a city EMS group.

One of her employees called her last night, frantic because her husband's ID has been compromised, in a bad way. The employee didn't know what to do.

I now have the employee and her husband talking to a private licensed investigator and a lawyer for help handling this issue.

I don't know what the outcome will be but I love knowing that I helped these people get the professional help they needed immediately. I could have had her on the phone last night but she forgot she could call me.

Why would you call a lawyer for an identity theft issue? Can you give an example?

Stay tuned...
