79 - Are you overlooking a valuable employee?

Many people can't see brilliance, they are simply blinded by it.

That was my response to a LinkedIn post about an employee who had been fired by one company because they thought he wasn't any good.

That employee went on to be a leader in another company.

We have heard of great leaders like Walt Disney, Oprah Winfrey, and countless others who were told they weren't good enough.

No two employees are alike, nor should they be.

You need multiple mindsets and personalities.

The more diversity you have in your organization the more ideas and perspectives you can get.

The quiet ones do things for everyone else without making it about them.

Who do you have in your organization that may not stand out at first glance but upon closer look you realize they bring value to the team?

Today, show appreciation to an employee or coworker that you normally wouldn't even think of.
