I was on a roll for a long time. Each morning I would have a post ready to go for LinkedIn.

I had ideas flowing from many places. That hasn't changed. Post ideas are everywhere.

My routine had changed and I found myself struggling to keep up. The life of an entrepreneur is never dull.

That inner struggle was completely self-conceived.

I wasn't in front of my computer as much and I felt disconnected.

It all came to a head as I sat wondering what I should post about.

There are so many topics and ideas to write about but my mind was going so fast that I couldn't focus on one thought.

🛑 STOP! I sat down, took a deep breath, and stopped thinking.

✅ Yes, you can stop thinking.

Cynthia Soares-Harfoush mentioned the book The Untethered Soul, by Michael Singer.

Singer says, "You are so entrenched into paying attention to your thoughts and emotions that you never go beyond the borders, they create."

It's OK, not to be on LinkedIn every day. It's acceptable not to post daily.

✅ Engagement is the key. Be present. Be responsive to people.

Daily engagement with other people's posts and responses is what keeps me connected.

I was fully engaged, just not virtually and that's ok.

Do you ever disengage?
