Do you have an up-to-date will?
It's that time again. It's time to get your most important documents in order.
Your will is your final love letter to your family, yet around 70% of Americans do not have an up-to-date will if they have any will at all.
Why do we leave something so important when we know we need it?
Some people believe they don't own anything of value so there is no need.
That is mistake number one.
If you have a cell phone or computer, and you are reading this post, you more than likely have other social media accounts as well.
This month will be all about educating people on the need for making final decisions.
Who will take care of those when you are no longer able?
Who will make decisions on your behalf when you are no longer able?
There aren't scary questions, they are life-event questions that will happen someday.
Hand-written wills are easily contested, as are free online wills.
If you don't have a will, your state has one for you.
Do you really want the state to make decisions on your behalf?
