Here's to Halloween 🎃
It is the second most lucrative holiday in the US, next to Christmas.
When I lived in Michigan, I had this cool pumpkin that turned itself into a Salvador Dali piece of art.
Halloween isn't what it was when I was young.
We used to make our costumes, and it all took place on October 31st, regardless of what day of the week it was.
We would get home from school and start getting ready. Then, at about 5 pm kids started to go trick or treating.
The whole thing lasted a few hours, with the younger ones heading home earlier than the older kids.
By about 9 pm it was over with all the candy and treats inspected, counted, and shared with our parents. OK, a bunch of it got eaten as well.
Times have changed, but we are have found new ways to keep up this fun tradition.
While some prefer gruesome tales and scary movies, others focus on the candy, costumes and carving pumpkins.
How are you celebrating Halloween in your business?
