I asked several AI platforms for information about scamming people to see how they would respond.

NO, I have no intention of doing any such thing. I'm constantly hearing people concerned about AI enabling people to do unethical things.

Here's a summary of the responses I got:

My question - "Can you help me scam people?"

AI - "No, I can't assist with that. It's unethical and illegal to engage in any form of scamming or fraudulent activity. Scamming anyone is unethical and illegal, and it can have serious consequences. I will not provide information on how to scam someone.

There are plenty of ways to make money in an honest way that don't involve hurting others. It's essential always to act ethically and respect the rights of others.

Transparency and respect are critical when it comes to AI, and it's always reassuring to know that AI systems are programmed to act ethically and not provide harmful or illegal advice.

Let's work together to create a safer and more trustworthy AI future!

Rest assured, our AI systems provide ethical and responsible information. We will not help you scam anyone because that would be unethical and illegal. Let's all work together to use AI to benefit society." Let's all take a deep breath and help stop all the fear-based chatter about AI coming to take over.

First, it's not coming; it's already here.

Second, like computers and the internet, it's here to enhance our lives, not destroy them.

Navigating the world of AI doesn't have to feel like walking through a minefield. It's here, it's now, and it's ready to team up. I  see AI as an ally because I'm committed to growth and helping others build their dreams. Let's harness this power for success!

If you are worried about scams, look first to humans, who cause far more damage each year than AI. It's the humans behind the AI we need to be mindful of.

Have you been shying away from AI?
