70 - Are you playing small to fit in?

Is your career starting to move to the next level?

Do you feel yourself changing every day, noticing that the people around you are not making the same effort to improve themselves?

You try to fit in but it's not working. You want to scream out at times that you have a plan, a dream, and as it starts to take shape in your life you are outgrowing the people you work with, maybe even those you live with.

In her book, Return to Love, Marianne Williamson wrote: "Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you."

It gives you permission to be you.

For a long time, I worked hard at not showing the new ways I saw my world-changing. I "went along" to fit in even though I knew I was in a new place.

As you grow and are moving forward to becoming the person you want to be, remember to be kind and thoughtful. Be aware, that new things are coming and life is good!
