Do you attend business socials?

Last night, I attended a business social sponsored by @John Knotts and @Brad Graves.

Have you ever seen someone you know but couldn't place them because you have only seen them from the shoulders up?

I had the pleasure of meeting several people who I have only known on Zoom meetings or LinkedIn.

John and Brad put organized the event to bring some local business people together in an informal setting.

A business social is an event for people to relax and re-energize with like-minded people.

It provides a space for people to be themselves, without business attire, or having to present themselves on behalf of a company.

We shared a glass of wine (or 2) and enjoyed appetizers as we got to know more about each other and what we do.

It's at gatherings like this that new relationships are built and existing ones are strengthened, not to mention innovation and ideas.

These social gatherings keep us from becoming dull, as the proverb goes... "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".
