We are in Texas and IT IS STILL SNOWING. This is unreal.
PLEASE, if you do not already understand what a State of Emergency is, learn it NOW.
These are people we deal with every day in our businesses.
How do you handle clients who feel entitled to your time whenever they want it or when they want to use you to vent?
I have been busy helping out here in my community during this Emergency, and everything is going smoothly, or it was until I received a call from a client.
This client began the conversation by asking me why she even has my services. I asked her what's going on and the flood gates of the complaint opened. I knew I was hearing only one side of the story, so I let her vent. When she was don't I simply told there that if she wasn't satisfied, she could cancel any time.
Then the woman proceeded to tell me what she likes about the services. I just guided her to answer her own question.
By the need of the call, she was a happy customer again. We hung up with her happy and me being able to get back to helping people.
This too shall pass. Give people the chance to vent, even if you wish you could do the same.
