We all have our up-and-down days, right?
But regardless of your mood, how do you show up for others?
Do you wear your emotions on your sleeve?
Do you find yourself telling your client your personal issues, to "build rapport", rather than asking them questions to find out more about them?
We all have personality traits that we bring into our business lives. Some people may feel comfortable letting everyone know what mood they're in (and why), others are a closed book.
Before you meet with a client do you conscientiously consider how you will show up, considering what mood they might be in or what circumstance they may be going through?
It doesn't take a lot to read your client's body language and pick up on how the conversation should go. That way you may know right up front to keep it brief, or relax it a bit and tell a few stories.
How do you show up for your clients?
I focus on them
I focus on myself
I focus on my product
